With VirtualDVR you should be able to use a normal PC as video recorder replacement. This means you simply “program” a job, press a standby button and some time later you will find a complete recording on your hard drive.
A special feature of VirtualDVR is the ability to turn the PC on when it’s needed and to turn it off after recording. Therefore the computer must not run all the time. Beside this VirtualDVR can automatically record telecasts which meet your specific criteria. Furthermore jobs can easily be programmed by using an electronic tv-guide (EPG). So you simply have to select what you want to record and VirtualDVR will do the rest.
